
1. Use the shape tool, choose polygon, set sides to 3
2. Click path option then click paths palette and convert to selection using the selection button at the bottom of the palette..
3. Copy, Ctrl-C, then open a new file that is large... say 20 x 20 x 240dpi
4. Paste into here... then paste again.
5. Flip this new triangle horizontally....Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal
6. Rotate it either 60 degrees or -60 in the angle box
7. Paste another one and flip and rotate in the opposite direction... Fit it in and flatten...
8. Flatten image, use wand to select the background, inverse then copy the 1/2 hexagon.
9. Paste and flip Vertical ...move into position and flatten.
10. Select background and inverse, copy hexagon and paste.. move into postion, create infinite tiling of hexagons...
11... If you want a circle like a kaliedescope, une oval marquee select tool and hold shift and alt starting from the center...
12. Copy>Paste onto a new canvas... If you want a soft outside, make a new smaller selection and feather it... invert it and press delete...
That's it...!
